I have a lady that is having trouble with deer coming into her yard at night eating her flowers. She does not want to hurt the deer. Any suggestions on keeping them away. I have heard hanging bars of soap or human hair in the area.

That won't keep them from eating it. You can try a few different products for repelling them. One that I have found to work for many critters is moth balls sprinkled around the plants. It does work well, especially for squirrels and rabbits and such.

I would imagine a little bit of Seven dust would make it not taste very good either.

And why do you need a tree stand in Ft. Liquordale?

Palm trees have a very shallow root system are you sure they will be able to support your weight.

Maybe to sit up there and spot those smart rich people with a decadent lifestyle that you "service" for around $20 a pop?

Mr. Jack to answer your question commercial products is available for woody plants but you will need to be a certified insured licensed applicator to apply.

Our friend Jack is located in the great state of Georgia, the place that I was implying a deer stand should be erected. He IS the one who has the deer problem after all. I'm quite sure that my implications were understood by the majority. Stone, I'm sure Jack will be pleased to know that commercial products "is" available.

Guys, I do understand, and I really appreciate any input. Being a southerner I do know what deer steaks taste like. I am just trying to be diplomatic like the administrator, Scaper and Scott. I am still learning.
