Not a bad start!

I would make a few changes:

1. Make sure you fix as many spelling and grammar errors as possible. I really like to make sure everything looks good, because everything a potential customer see's will play some role in their decision to hire you.

2. You have commercial and residential on your links, but both pages say the same thing. You might want to combine them if you are not offering seperate services, and just make one page and say you do both commercial and residential work.

3. Pictures are worth a thousand words! Try to use pictures of your best properties and make sure they all look good. Also, I would add a logo or copyright statement on your pictures like myself and Erich (Scaper) does, so it will help prevent people from using your pictures.

4. Don't use two seperately located links to your pages on one page. What I mean by that is, don't put links at the top and put the same links at the bottom, especially when the page is very short.

5. Put your phone # and email address on EVERY page! The number will get stuck in people's heads and they will be more likely to contact you.

6. I wouldn't leave the wages part on your employment page. When people read that, they will apply and ask for over $8 per hour. Unless you base pay on experience like most do, I wouldn't leave that on there.

I like your logo!

Let us know when it is finished..
Good Luck!

I like the "handyman" part of the site but think you should list out in detail the things you do in this department. Have a look at this site for ideas ... www.colonialhandyman.com

this is just the bones of the site. i plan on adding pictures of properties, more about services and a lot more under handyman. this has been a learning expierence to say the least.[:p] now that i have the pages linked and the logo and such on there i can start working more on content.

The logo i designed myself and have on the side of my truck and on my shirts.

thanks for all the feed back i will let you know when it is done.

dancom,
Just wanted to say that I liked the logo. You did a good job in designing it, looks very professional. As far as the website goes, it's a little short but I understand it is still in the developmental stage right now.

Good luck,
Curtis

I like the poll, it gets people to thinking. Are you going to change it periodically. They have a poll on our newspaper on the website, and each day there is a different poll. It gets people coming back to see what it is.
