Better engineGreener Side 05-22-2002, 10:06 PM I was looking into getting a ZTR. The brand alone is hard to choose Ex-mark or Scag? But thats all personal opinion. The BIG question is what is a good, reliable engine? Whats a good size for a ZTR? Kaw. 23 liquid cooled, Kohler 25. Ive used mowers with both brands of engine I like the performance of the Kaw. but I dont have any complaints about the Kohlers either. Im lookin for one that has a good bang for the buck. If you have seen Grassmasters mile long posts you will know that I have a 2 miler about that piece of junk.
