Need advice on shrubs.

I need some recommendations on some red flowered evergreen shrubs that I want to shape into ball shape of about 30" or so diameter.

So far I ruled out Oleanda because of the poison and India Horthorn because it only have flowers for 3 months in spring.

So far I decided on Blue Potato Bush that have purple flower that bloom from spring all the way to fall. I want to find a red one that have flowers for 6 to 7 months out of the year.

I appreciate any input.
