I am new to the forum and greatly appreciate the wealth of info available. I am a lawn and power washing contractor. My question is: What is the best way to power wash concrete? Chemicals? Scrubbing? Just getting really close? Thanks!

use the search feature and enter, "pressure washing"
there has been some good info listed there.
for concrete(patios, driveways, walkways) they make a lawnmower looking washer with a rotating wand underneath, and if you're into drive-thru's you might want to get a hot wash unit. Everything I've read from seasoned washers use clorine on concrete and buildings. If you feel that you must burn our flag, please wrap yourself in it first.

Hello:
I tried everything cleaning Concrete & Many will disagree but...
Plenty of Water Flow: 4gpm Plus, 4,000 PSI & a Roto Nozzle if you have the GPM Flow & Pressure or Not. Roto Nozzle is like Tripling your Power...
Greasy Spots wick back to the Surface, Rust well live with it or use a O Degree Tip & Be Careful & Don't hit your foot with it either!
Now there is a Thing out there that looks like a Push Mower, that Works Pretty Good, but it takes a lot Of Water & a lot of Pressure! It appears you will streak a few before you get it figured out!
PS: I think someone on this Forum Has one?
If you let someone talk you into using Muratic Acid, Make sure you get your Mother in Law, Father In Law or someone else you dislike to use it for a While so you can learn from their Mistakes! Please stand far away!
I Can Use Muratic Acid just fine & I still try not to use it, because it's so dangerous! Have You seen Fatal Attraction?
I know a guy that had No Finger Nails & Had Diamond Plate for Flooring in the Back of his New Ford Truck, because he used Muratic Acid! LOL, His Container Sprung a small leak & the Next Day all his stuff in the Back of his Truck was on the Ground underneath his truck or Laying on his Drive Line!.

Beautiful!
That is what I was looking for. Thanks! I haven't had a problem with striping, yet, but I am just looking for a faster way. I will try chlorine. I have been using an Armor All citrus alkaline detergent which seems to work o.k., but really only on easy surface dirt. I will also check into the roto head.
