My lawn in upper NY got bad snow mold this year. We never really had any thaw cycles this winter so the snow started in Nov and remained on the lawn till just a few weeks ago. As snow melted you could see the heavy white moldy looking webbings over much of the grass areas. With snow gone the lawn area now appears as 40 - 50% brown heavily matted dead areas. What's the best way to go about repairing it and getting it looking like a lawn again in short time? It really appears so damaged in such a great mass that waiting for it to grow back and fill-in would seem a non-solution. Anyone have suggestions?
