  • Hydro problem with my Slit seeder

I have a Lesco Renotavor and I am having problems with the hydro pulling it self. It seem to pull ok for about the first 5 - 10 minutes and then I have to push it to get it to move. It's almost as if it's getting tired. I checked for leaks and can find none. I also changed the oil using 10w/40. I also disconected the line coming from the pump and started the engine and it pumped a lot of oil in a hurry. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the fix? Thanks

I have no idea what the Lesco hydro units call for, but in the hydro pumps on my mowers it's 15-50 Mobil 1. Do you need heavier oil?

Homer: It's called a "lawnmower". I invented it. Want one?

It says to use 10w30 or 10w40. So I used the heavier of the two. Still the same problem.

How old is the machine? How many hours of use?
I've never seen the lesco unit so I'm stabbing in the dark.

I have the same problem with my Lesco slit seater. It pulls for a few minutes then quits. Then it will pull again and quit. Did you figure out the problem?
