Staining fences

I have a new client who is interseted in having their fence treated. I have called several fence comp, and they charge from .30 to .49 cents a sg ft.
That includes labor and material. i have checked on stain and for a good oil based stain is $92.00 for 5 gallons. Is .49 cents a sq ft a reasonable quote?

Does that $0.49 per sq. ft. include:

Cleaning, Useing a Brightener and Staining ?

or is it just for putting down the stain ?

How old is the fence ? Does it have a stain on it now ?

Is this a solid fence ?

You can come stain my fence for 49 cents/sq ft. I got lots of fence that looks like crap.
