Hedge & Shrub Trimming

I am new to the lawn care & Landscaping field and was wondering how does every go about charging and pricing hedge and shrub trimming?

Do you charge hourly or charge by the plant or foot?

I charge by the job based on a hourly rate. Include trimming, cleanup and disposal of the trimmings when determining the amount of hours to complete the job.

we just say a number based on estimated man hours then work to hit the mark. we trim between 30-40,000 plants a year so it would be hard to price it any other way.

Most of the company provides Hedge and shrub trimming service on a “ per call” basis, also as an ongoing seasonal service.

Most of the companies charged according to hedge length and the size of the shrub.

We charge on hourly bases or also it depends upon the size of tree and how much work need to do on it.
