  • Dallis grass question

Ok our regular treatment service for this junk is to kill off and reseed.
I am courious if we used pre-emergents in mid may would it help prevent new germination and slow the spread of this weed? I ask because I assume it will work just courious if any one does this or knows another way to treat this in lawns before they get took over?

this grassy sheot is a perennial and pre-em will not stop it period. hitting it with a non-selective herbicide for a few weeks in a row is your only option other than digging it up. either way you choose you still will need some luck on your side and you won't know if you got the sheot till next season.....
