Default Price Of Snow Plow Per Hour...

..not exactly the time of year to be asking this but this is for next year's snow in commercial fixed contracts... i used a blower on residential this year and cleaned about $100/hr...

i've done some looking around and came to find out that snow removal with a plow should be about the same?? - this is on commercial properties...

i've taken measurments of all the pavement on these various properties and plugged the 50,000 sq ft per hour with an 8' blade... from phil's time data handbook book... and just divided it out that way and bid accordingly...

assuming i will have to go out 7 times during the season

so 7 x ((sq.ft./50,000)*100)

if the commercial account does not exceed 700 in snow removal, i make it that...

and then add 150 for de-icer and salt...

so minumum is 850 per season per commercial property.. added onto the summer contract to make a yearly fixed contract...

is my 100/hr correct though??

..and everyone's thoughts on the minimim price and so on..

thanks, aaron
