Hey Leone lawn! I'm 16 also! I'm noticing only two other 16 yr olds out there on this site, that would be steve (quality)and "I_just_cut_grass". I've done only residential lawn maintenance in the past, but looking into commercial mowing and landscaping with all the fixins! I also sell pumpkins, firewood, and strawberries. (to their appropriate season) It's really fun! Hey, what have you got going for yourself? what kind of equipment do you use?

ya i cut grass on a rider 72. diesel and i whip with a uh im going to buy a new one and i use a bigass back pack blower and my bro drives me around ITS easssy...lOL i make him edge or whip LOL... he mowes too and thats basically what weve got going so far

i have a child over 16, she is 17 and the best employee i have. no one trims or edges like her and she runs a walk behind well too.

Ditto to what quality says...My friend that runs a mowing business has a 15 yr. old daughter that operates the big John Deere with a bush hog on the back! lol! She's a pro and she always gets a tip especially from the older customers because they think she's cute! Yeah, I think we may get married someday! haha! Probably way outta my league! ttyl

hmmm girl that has same interests as me hehe

i have a 48 in scag wb belt 340br blower shindawa whipper and edger

37 lawn accounts and 15 snow blow and about a billion leave customers

I didnt even finish this year

If i get to 40 lawn im going to turn down jobs until im out of highschool

then im going to go to wayne state get a business degree and cut during the day

Hey leone how do u like that scag im thinking about buying a 36" scag belt for my gated yards taht i cant get my 44" through. How much you pay for it, what motor soes it have.

here is my theroy on gated yards first if they are not a huge back yard just buy a cheap push mower

if they are big backyards then ask yourself is it really worth my trouble to spend 3000 dollars on a mower that you would only use in backyards.

Lastly if 90% of your props have backyards well go for it but i just have my brother cut it with a 21 inch snapper. while i cut the front

My opinion of my scag is that the thing is a tank i have ripped up stumps on accident and once the blades ripped up the edge of a porch.
If this thing ever got away from me it would cause some major damage.
This year it was very easy to maintain just keep everything greased. The only thing is i wish i had gotten the 17 kaw because sometimes in tall thick wet with leaves it slows down cause i have a 15 kohler
