I'm through Erie insurance, as a solo operator myself, I pay around $700.00 a year for one million in liability.It also covers around $15.000 in hand tools and equipment.

I don't know that there is one company that stands out for the green industry. Most commercial companies will provide coverage for lawn maintenance or landscapers.
I also am insured with Erie, but they don't write in Mississippi as I recall. If you live in Tennessee, or can locate an Erie agent in Memphis they may be able to help you. Prices vary by state and location within a state in many cases. My premium is $790 per year for 500,000/1,000,000 GL, around $15,000 equipment, $500,000 Liability and physical damage for truck and trailer in Hendersonville, TN (Northeast of Nashville, but still in the metro area).

You should look into Grinell Mutual. I got 1 mil liabality and 5,ooo dollars for equipment for only $385 a year. I shopped around for a while and this was the best price.
