  • blowing/vac prices

    Hello all,

Just got a call from a customer wanting me to blow/vac the leaves out of her yard. I am wondering what to charge for this (my first time). I need some advice PLEASE by Friday evening (10/25/02, at the latest--I'm going to do the job on 10/26/02). She estimates her yard is about 75' x 165'. There is a small strip of lawn in front and about 75% of the lot is her back yard. She has some pine trees and doesn't know yet if she wants to rake up the pine needles or what to do with them. Her back yard is fenced in on 3 sides (I think--it was dark when I viewed her yard). She is providing the blower and bags for leaves, I provide the gas. I would sure appreciate any advice you can give also on general pricing (for my future jobs) if, for example, I was going to provide the blower, gas, leaf bags, etc. I live in Iowa, if that makes any difference. Many thanks to all.

Around here you could get over $100 per man hr. for clean-ups if you know what you're doing & have the proper equip.

I'm guessing if you're using a customers equip., $20 would be something to shoot for.
