I know how ya feel Mike, people think that they can just run you over. The only reason I sued this lady was for the principle of the thing, she only owed me like $60.00 for a one time job. I have had several others this year try to pull fast ones on me. Now I have wised up and will not do any one time jobs if the person is not there to pay me. I don't care if it makes them mad or not, I'm tired of being screw over. If they don't like my rules they can go somewhere else and have them do the work for free. I definately would terminate service if the account was a couple weeks past due. No sense doing the work if you are never going to get paid for it.
