  • Efficiency question...

I see I need a more efficient trim mower. I am ignorant to which small mowers are more efficient.

This will soon be purchased and want to spend wisely. My 21" is slowly roaching out.

Do I replace it w/commercial 21" What do I look for in commercial 21" if so? I have some lawns that demand bagging too and rely on my 21" for this w/28" Snapper rider for bagging too. Are the commercial trim mowers REALLY worth the extra cash? I definately want self propelled but again am ignorant to these lil' guys tranny set ups.

Do I look for small commercial hydro wb? I see where a 36" or larger would be nice w/sulky but I am replacing trim 21" mower... AND, am I kidding myself thinking a 36" w/BIG Kawasaki would support/tow a sulky w/my 300# occasionally on larger open residentials?

I have not considered gear or belt... hydro seems to be much more durable/dependable. Is this true or am I just assuming hydro is better due to posts I've read.

Do I bite the bullet and purchase both 21 trim and larger hydro wb that WILL support sulky/fat ass.

And take into consideration I work alone, I need a workhorse as it will be used daily in addition to Ferris 52". I am anal about maintenance but my knowledge pretty much stops where the manual does on whatever I buy. What I mean is it has to be durable. I am weeding out smaller lawns now and working on more rurals w/acreage (personal choice of lawns to cut) but will maintain 12 clients in small mobile homes in 1 park and several friends town homes. Larger wb could wait until I aquire more acreage res. and I don't really know how large I can get away with for trim mower that will get in where needed.
