New Hustler Super Mini Z belt problem

I got the new mower yesterday and found some cuts in the deck belt. I had read a post where someone else had the same problem with a new Mini Z. I found that the pump drive belt will cut the deck belt when the deck is raised to the transport position. There doesn't appear to be enough room to raise the drive belt pulley any so I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this and knows a solution other than not raising the deck all the way to the transport position. I called the dealer and they said they will check with Hustler tomorrow. I now have 3 cuts 3/8" deep in the new belt. Thanks for any feedback.
