This is my 1st thread so please bare with me. I hope this hasn't been discussed yet. I work for an electric utility company and we mow the grass around all of our substations. For the last 14 years we have used a Kubota 1740 4x4 tractor with a 48" brush hog. They are planning on buying a zero turn to replace the Kubota. As of now, I think they are leaning towards a John Deere Max Z-Trac 777. I'm not familiar with the JD. The only ZT I've used is the Cub Cadet Tank 48", the one I use at home.
Since a lot of you are in the lawn care business I was hoping for some comments on the JD zero turns and the Hustler zero turns, pro's and con's. We have 30 plus substations to cut so the mower has to be durable, dependable...etc. Btw, the mower deck must be no bigger than a 60". Thanks.
I'll have some questions about the Hustler mowers but I'll save them until later. I'm considering getting one. Thanks again.
