What would you think a 2002 Walker possibly a MB (NOT GHS) with a side discharge 48" deck with a 16 Kohler that doesn't work? This unit has about 400 hours on it and the engine may have a bad rod.

Not that much. The GHS is what makes a Walker a great machine.

What engine is it?
Hard to find any good used Walker spec engines.
Not much real value do to expensive replacement engines.
A hydro walkbehind with a bad engine would be worth more that the Walker because you can repower it with a engine from any old garden tractor."Maitreya"Comment

Here in central WI a Walker GHS with a dead engine goes for $200-500 bucks max. Hardly see any MB's here and at the dealer they have a NOS MB from a few yrs back that no-one seems to want. A couple hundred bucks max(IMO) and you will likely need to rebuild the Walker spec Kohler as replacements will be pricey for what you end up with.Comment
