Ok so I made 2 huge mistakes today I bought a scag turf runner site not seen
Was told the motor needed ONLY and was guaranteed ONLY a rod and cam. Well guess what he droped it off and left as I had a newborn in the house screaming. As soon as the baby fell asleap went outside and looked the motor that over and yes it needs a new rod and cam BUT also needs the other rod 2 new pistons a new crank and to top it all off there is a chunck missing out of the bottom of the cylinder so a new motor. Well I guess what im looking for is other options for engines that would bolt up and have the same 1 1/8 shaft. As Im sure you all know the runner isnt worth crap so dont want to put a 900$ short block in it. Anybody have a used 20hp kohler ch20s spec #64559. Or a other engine that would bolt up. Or another place I can buy a short block for cheaper than 900. Thanks
