Toro 255 62 SFS Questions

New to the Toro world, price $550 with seized engine, turned out to be seized spindal, $105 and I'm mowing. "Blowout" where grass is blowing from under the deck into my lap is really bad, does not have baffles installed, will they stop the grass storm? Seems to use oil, I read where this is normal for this machine, I run it WO for 4 hours, use about a pint.
