Exmark Commercial 21 oil change

Anyone have any advice on the best way to drain the engine oil without making a big mess? The engine is a Kawasaki

Warm up engine first by running it for a couple minutes. Tip the mower on it's side, air filter side up. Unscrew oil fill cap and drain into a oil pan. These mowers are easy and clean to change, just wish it were that way for some of my others...
