Depends on the size of the house.

How many stories is it? Townhouse or single family home? How many square feet is it?

Do yourself and others a favor and don't create a cookie cutter "one price for any house" deal. This may sound basic, but larger homes are worth more, terrain matters and so do the number of stories.

You can research this here: www.thegrimescene.com

I did see an x-jet M-5 listed in another thread, and I will add that the M-5 is a must for the serious house washer. Also you are better served with a unit that can create hot water, and boys and girls you aren't getting that at HD or Lowes.

Lemme know if you have any questions....we do this type of job daily.

15%, let's get this market going!

ATTENTION ALL PRESSURE WASHERS OF THE WORLD!

It's time to unite and stop getting paid peanuts. We need to raise our rates uniformly by 15% or more! The world is passing us by and our children are suffering because of it. SO let's all get together and raise our rates! If we stand united we can't be turned down and the ones that don't join us, well, we'll cut their hoses! Whadda SAY?!

I know I'm always talkng about demographics, but where residential is concerned they really do matter quite a bit and impact your bottom line. Know your market, know the home values, know the income levels and know how your consumer spends. Read compeditive ads and then you'll have the best feel forhow to price house washing. It can vary quite a bit from place to place, from year to year, and can be affected by weather - droughts for example.

Just to piggy back on what Beth said...you may also would want to consider how good you are at washing. If your comfort level and quality of works can dictate a higher price than your competitor than I would say it would be worth your while to try to focus your pricing scheme in that category.
