I was just wondering if anyone offers pressure washing as a extra service. I'm not talking about a house or anything big, but possibly driveways and sidewalk's. If you do offer this extra what is a basic rate?

I think you got it backwards, drive ways are the big jobs! They are dirtyier, the crud dosen't run off like the side of a house and the crud on the cement usualy dosen't come off unless you get right up on it.
A house on the other hand, the water falls right off, dosen't kill the back, not as dirty(usualy), and what dirt there is falls off alot easier. The only down side to a house is the height, you'll have to invest in ladders or long attachments for high houses.
I usually estimate my time to 25 an hour for most driveways and on average get 50$ for a one story 3bedroom home.
Here's a tip, put a little motor oil on your hose connections by dipping your finger in oil and rubing it on the threads every so often, it makes setting up and taking down easier.
Here I go again!Here I go again!

Thanks Mitchell! I have not attempted any pressure washing yet, but I have had my lawn customer's ask me about it. I have got 3 house's and 2 other driveways I can do right now if I choose. I know you said your hourly rate but how long does it normally take?

I would charge $75 for a single story under 1500 sq ft and try to be done in under an hour which includes unload, wash, cleanup and load. Driveways can be like Mitchell said "a big job" especially if they have alot of oil leaks. I charge $25 for a short driveway w/o oil spots, then I guesstimate for larger and with oil spots.
If you feel that you must burn our flag, please wrap yourself in it first.

I AM NEW TO THE LAWN CARE INDUSTRY BUT I HAVE A PRESSURE WASHING BUSINESS. IN ORDER TO BE EFFICIENT YOU NEED A SURFACE CLEANER, A DECENT ONE WILL RUN ABOUT $750.00 NEW. YOU CAN USE IT ON ANY FLAT SURFACE, POOL DECKS, ROOFS, DRIVEWAYS ETC... ONE PERSON CAN CLEAN AN AVERAGE TWO CAR DRIVEWAY IN 1/2 HOUR. I PRICE JOBS AT $30.00-$100.00 PER HOUR PER PERSON. A 2 CAR DRIVEWAY-$35.00 ONE PERSON. THE ROOF ON A 3000 SF HOME $300.00 ONE PERSON 3.5 HRS. IF YOU PLAN ON PRESSURE WASHING OFTEN I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING LESS THAN A 3500PSI @ 4GPM.
