  • Will it hurt it???

Questions......well, questions. Will chlorine hurt a retractable awning colors....the canvas part? Also will it hurt the outdoor carpet on the deck?

Also, when you guys mention charging .10 per sqr foot for a house are you refering to square footage of the house as per living space or the actual surface area to be cleaned.

So a house that is 2500 sf would be $250.00 ?

Thanks for your help, informative forum.

chlorine will discolor both if you're not careful.

Some people price house cleaning by the linear foot, some sq ft. I prefer linear foot. There are other factors that should affect your pricing; height, surface, condition, travel, etc...

I've heard of people wetting down the awning first with water & being careful not to pop it with chlorine & still staining the awning.

Thanks Scott! That should help me out. The house I'm doing is just as a fav or for some older lawn customers so I'm a little green on this. It is basicly a one story ranch, little bigger than normal, maybe about 2800 sq ft. Lots of mildew and mold. Guess I'll stay away from the areas that will discolor and just use a mild cleaner on those areas. Also a pond tight against the house I need to watch. Don't want to kill the carp!....lol I was thinking about telling them $250. Is that about right?

Thanks MM. I will have them at least retract it. Maybe cover it with a tarp after it is rolled up? I'll just use mild soap and elbow grease around the touchy areas.

It's roughly the size of a silver dollar, but heavier I think?

It makes one Pimpy looking necklace & it shows everybody what the true color of 22 carat gold looks like and the ladies like looking at them.

The worse name I've ever been called in my life was...

A Purple Eared Granny ******, so MM ain't that bad no matter which one you meant?

I have an awful thick skin, I was public schooled in Georgia, I was taught to take it & it takes a good bit to get me upset. Unless you talk about Equipment Dealers, Taxes or Medical Care... Then I go off on one of my fit pitching sprees with mile long post!

                      SWEET!
I wonder if the age of the coin affects the value?
My suggestion though, don't play with it when you and Roscoe are drinking late and it's close to payday. You might run out, be short on cash and then he'll talk you into going to the club on $1 night. It should would be a sobering experience in the morning.

you know something? I seem to remember as a child I was playing with a coin just like this that I found in an old hippy commune behind my apts and ate it? About killed me to swallow it, that's why I remember it.
