    Hey Guys,
This is my first year owning my own business. I only serviced 8 yards this year but i am looking to more than double that next year through advertising. I would like to get a company uniform. What kind should i have, Polo or T-shirts. Also I wear jeans and require anyone that work with me to do so. Do you think I should require steel toed boats next and I provide them are let the employees buy their own and i refund them the purchase price.

Looking for lots of imputs from you pros that have did this for a while.

definately go for the steel toes, it's worth it. I've dropped a few things on my feet to make it worth it. I wear both polo and tees. I like polos because they are more open making me sweat less.
    oooooooooo yyyyeah

Khaki shorts or pants, and tee's with embroidered logo on the front for me. I have a customer that runs a little emboidery business from her house that does my shirts for me. I absolutely hate working in jeans. There is nothing more miserable than working outdoors on a hot humid day in jeans.

Uniforms are professional. I provided all my guys with shirts and long pants. For years I bought everything from Sears catalogues, then switched to a professional supplier.
I'm in Florida and long pants are good protection from brush bruises, flying rocks and debris, etc. I'll admit I wore shorts on plenty occasions though, usually when I wasn't using equipment.
