Considering LLC

I have been considering filing as a LLC. I know I could go through a lawer, but am a able to do this my self?

What is the cheepest way to do this and how much would it cost?

Do you get cheeper commercial insurance rates as a LLC? I am looking to get commercial insurance; should i wait till i register as a LLC?

LLCs are a piece of cake to form - no need to hire a lawyer. I assume it's a single member LLC right? (Multi members and you would want a lawyer for a more complicated operating agreement). Check this link:

If you do decide to seek help, go through a CPA instead of a lawyer. It'll probably be cheaper, and they'll be able to offer much better advice than a lawyer.
