  • Lawn Care Invoice Service..?

I want to find a service who will send my customers an invoice each month. Any suggestions?

Sure ... bill your services to credit cards to begin with ... billing customers directly and accounts receivable are both "old hat".

I'm still an "old hat" type, too. I use QuickBooks Pro 2004, and QuickBooks offers a service that you want. (I don't use it, but it looks reasonable for us owners that need to spend less time with bookwork, but are not yet set up like Phil describes).

The service costs $15/month plus .79 per item (about double the cost of a stamp). They send invoices, re-bill late payers, and provide a website where customers can see their account status and history. Check it out.

We have a service in Nashville we use. I am sure they have accounts outside of TN as most of the communication is done electronically. You can reach them at CARTWHEELZ@aol.com. They offer all types of accounting services including invoicing. We provide them a list of our recurring and just send an updated file weekly and they do the rest.

          Hi KenBrown,

Did you consider contacting your bank to see if they can set you up with a merchant account? Then you could bill their credit card monthly. It would be simple.
