    Most common mistake ...

    Not understanding that each job you go to see and get is actually a JOB INTERVIEW ... and that all your advertising that "got you there" really boils down to 3 words ... Man For Hire.

    Like at a job interview ... you must convince them to hire you ... that you are the best choice (and why) ... most landscapers just "stand there" and wait to be "hired" based on the fact that they are "available" ... Man For Hire.

    and remember the customer doesn't mean no till they say no three times, after that is when salesmanship start. always have a pen always have an order form.

    always ask what do i need to do to get your business?

      While at the sales "interview" ... QUALIFY ... yourself, your company and that you can "handle" the gig. Then "ask" for the job.
