Does your business runs itself?

Is anyones business to the point where it runs itself? Meaning you have people running every aspect of the company and you basically just collect a check?
That would be my goal in starting a business like this, but i wonder if it attainable? Is anyone at that point or could be there if they chose to?

I have never acutally met anyone who 'just collect the check'. For sure there are those who prefer to administrate and run the business and have stopped doing the actual physical work but I think that many in the business are in it because they like it... at least thats how I see it.

Anyway remember this if you want others to run your business...
