  • NC here we come!

I close on my house in Raleigh on Feb 28 (complete with barn!) and closing on my old house in Athens will be mid March.... I sold my house in Athens in one week! for more than I bought it for!

NC professional licensure is a little weird though.... I know I don't need a state contractors license for construction projects under 30 grand.... but from what I'm reading, I need a state license to cut grass? can that be right? I know I have to get a home inspectors license but what's weird is they want a bond (not suprising) of more than 5k but LESS than 10k.

    NC is so odd.

Well for starters.....if you think we are odd......keep going till you find a place that fits you un-odd needs.....LOL

You DO NOT need a state license to do lawn maintenance. I have been through that several times with the state and the answer is always no you do not.

I have a DBA so my name is registered. If you want to landscaping you need a license but straight from the state guys mouth is "for service only you do not need a license and we do not provide one".

I have never seen any messages on here that refer to how to price out services for campgrounds. Any suggestions?
