Does the color of the flyer impact response that much?

    1. I charge $1 per minute I was told this was the going rate when I started.
I don't unload my equipment for under $30. most of my accounts pay $40 to $75. For mulching I double the cost of my material and add labor.

    2. I never mention Price on my flyers. I let people call, I then sell them on the quality of the service. I do run specials but only for new customers and that is I offer them the 5th mowing free if they take this offer when I bid there yard I add $5 to what I would have bid with out the free mowing. I also offer a 5% discount to people that pay for the season in advance. I always bid high enough so that if they take this offer I still make a profit.

    3. I don't just do Mowing and trimming. I also do Driveway sealing and painting. I Sell the customer on letting 1 company provide all there service needs.

Most of the flyers around here that I have seen have been plain white with black ink.

I always treat my clients with respect I Listen to there needs. I turn down people that want me to low ball. I always tell them this. My Favorite Line "You get what you pay for" followed by "If you hire me you will get a quality Job."

I think the percentage goes for how many bids are accepted. With flyers you want as many people to respond as possible. That's when you have your opportunity to sell.
