Besides my mileage ledger and receipt book what do you seasoned vets rec for forms? I own a laptop, use a Blackberry 7100-T mobile phone/organizer/PDA. Would it be more efficient to keep it electronic? (I do not trust this method alone.)
I am currently owner/operator w/no employees. What about tax deductions? I understand that ANYTHING purchased for business is deductible but do I need more than the old New Balance shoe box yet? Accountant says I'm fine just keep EVERYTHING! What about meals? Clothing? My truck? I am fortunate there is a State University w/ SBA counselers 10 minutes from my home that offers classes which I will take as they become available but need to know just the highlights of record keeping for my minimal lawns for now.
