hello.... does anyone know where i can get a nice 2way communication system to keep in contact w/the labors on the site while i'm there. i am lookng for something more than just the 2way 2mile radius radio talkies..... i'm thinking of something that will also play music but well let you talk to others connected to the system, like G-I-JOES'S radio talkies.... i'de use cell phones, but i don't wanna waste my minutes and ect.....

Is there such thing, if so can ya point me in the rite direction

You're putting the cart before the horse here, aren't you? Or are you just trying to up your post count in a hurry by posting anything that comes to mind?

If your talking about keeping in contact on the same property, and 2-way walkie talkie will work. They are very small, and are not expensive at all. Like under $50 for an okay pair.

But you won't use them as much as you think. Hardly at all.

A+ Why don't you just sit in that new truck your daddy is going to buy you and blow the horn, then when they come a runin, just tell them what you want a say.

Radio Shack can help. They have several types of "walkie talkies" on their shelves. Very in-expensive.......unlike the Nextel route.

You'd be better off with a cell phone for a 17 year old kid and a "helper" you don't need nextel
