Business opinion desired

I got a quick question for all the experienced pros.
Id like to get some opinions on a specific grounds keeping business idea.
The idea is to concentrate only on landscape bed maintenance. Weeding, trimming shrubs and bushes, watering, managing mulch, rock, bark and other soil cover, planting, removing and replacing plants as necessary and any other work specifically related to landscape bed maintenance. All most like a personal gardener but on a commercial scale.
Give me your opinions. Id like to hear from everyone.

I know you asked for pros to answer but, I am just starting out as and only plan on doing mowing, trimming and blowing part time for now. If there was someone like you around here, I would be glad to work with them. We could help eachother out when customers want more than we offer. Don't know how well it would work for you, but I think it's a great idea.

If you are looking to do this on a commercial business basis, the landscape company that they hire to maintain the grounds handles this. It is always in our bid packages to these companies. Most commercial companies that have a landscape company want to only deal with that company for many reasons. Not trying to knock your idea, it is always good to think out of the box.

Everything except mowing grass? ... yeah it's possible but where I have seen it done is in New York City, big cities ... rooftop gardens, interiorscapes in buildings, commercial gigs ... places that have no grass to mow but have plants to maintain and many on a year around basis ... but in downtown (revisionary sections) often there is no grass ...

I think it's a great idea. Sure, most of the companies include this in their contracts. BUT, if that's all you did, you could likely do it for a little cheaper because you have less overhead. SOOOOO, those mowing companies could 'sub' the work to you. You could make good money, and they could make a little without doing the work themself.
