  • Got the door hangers today

I got my 10,000 door hangers today, its a whole lot of paper, 83 lbs. of paper, I passed out around 700 today, but these things are a hassle evrytime i would put it on a door the wind would blow it off right away, and some hangers can't be used , my question is i know somebody out there has passed out door hangers before how do u make it easy on yourself, and also how long do you guys think these doorhangers will take me to pass out if i have 3 guys passing them out, should i pass them out all this week or should i pass some now and wait for the grass to start growing and pass out the rest

    Thanx for the help

    Bgtymrz23:

Go to Officemax, Staples, etc. Get yourself as many bags of rubber bands as you will need. Get the ones that will hold up, not those el-cheapo's. Get yourself a paper punch as well. Punch a hole in a corner of the door hanger. Insert the rubber band into the hole about half way. Put one end of the rubber band through the center of the end on the oppossite side, then pull it so it cinches down. Now you can loop it around a door handle a few times and it will stay put, or attach it to a garage door handle, newspaper box, etc.

Doesn't that lose the advantage of "door hanger"? Why not just use a flyer if you have to attach it?

get a bus of mexicans to canvass the neighborhoods... you can get 20mexicans at a discount price of $200 a day (the more mexicans you order, the cheaper they'll work)... it'll take 1day to do it this way, you other option is for you to work like a mexican with some buddies that'll take you a week.....

          Hi bgtymrz23,

Are you going to wait until the grass starts growing and then pass them out to some of the same houses again as a test to see if you get better results that way?

              hiya bgt,

we just ordered 5000 and got them in last week.. they have been proving difficult to put out on windy days... as they would blow off and fall down. I started taking the hanger and sliding it between the door and the seal material just above the handle.. seems to hold it well and not throw the thing to the ground when a gust of wind comes along.

yea thats what i did today but i found an easier way, most house have 2 doors, a door that everybody can open without a key and the other has a lock on it, so what i do is open the fist and put the door hanger on the second, its much easier and this way they don't fly off.
