Good or Bad Idea?

Ok this is what I was thinking and i would like to see what everyone has to say.

Business Name: His & Hers Property Care

My idea is as fallows:

Make flyers that read His & Hers Property Care that are split down the middle with a line.
On one side have HIS: mowing, edging, trimming... etc...

On the other side have HERS: Cleaning & Janitorial Services...etc....

My basic thought is since my wife and i will be running this business together why not market the entire property maintenance company not only the outside but the inside as well. It seems to me that people who have there lawn maintained by an LCO might be apt to have a company or individual taking care of the inside of their home as well....

Again all openions welcome.. good or bad

I might consider approaching it from a different angle. Some women don't like to be labeled under the 'cleaning' portion.

The first thing that may come to their mind is the 'barefoot, pregnant and doing laundry' scenerio.


I don't think men mind as much about being labeled to do certain chores, but I'm not too sure if that holds up with the female gender.

i had though about going more with no seperation and more with something like this

We offer mowing, edging, trimming, house cleaning, painting, etc, etc...

got some help with that idea and it doesn't seperate men from women more so states the type of services provided throught the company... let them make their own decissions.... can't make them all happy

How about "He Said / She Said" for each column?

He Said...Mow grass, trim shrubs, etc.

She Said...Clean the bathrooms, wash the floors, etc.

2 in one property maint. business good idea... labeling his and her bad idea ... bad label for women and i think it is unproffesional... you are going in the right direction though getting creative just keep working on it and asking opinions with what you come up with ... good luck to you
