Wanting to start another business?

Im mainly wanting to focus on the lawn maint. service but i would like to start working on another business that i can work on aside from lawn maint. possibly that can have somthing to do with the green industry ... wholesale a product or possibly another service that i can sub out the work or really just throw any ideas you have out there.

Home improvement ... take your pick ... painting, siding, roofing, interior remodeling, driveway paving ... heck there must be over 100 of them ... keep you busy for the rest of your life ...

If you're a good manager, have a few bucks to invest, know how to treat employees ... and possess some common sense ... that's about it.

How about outdoor lighting installations or ponds? That could tie in with your lawn care operation too.

How would you guys suggest going about learning these things... I mean you don't want to try it on a job sight or they will never hire you again if you mess up big time. Where would you learn it?

Go work a couple years for a contractor that provides the services you want to learn.
