Any way a customer address and what services they receive can be added to a route list? I would like it to be automatic if possible. Am I not doing something right on this free edition or do you have to upgrade to the full edition to get this feature?

I am already working on a piece of software for personal use that will use a server based mysql db, that also utilizes maps.google.com (I like this better than mapquest, plus the satalight zoom pictures are great). The software will print out maps if desired. It also calculates all the milage during any given route, and stores this info (exportable) as well as prints it out. The milage portion is for tax reasons of course.Originally posted by A+ Lawncarei also have an similar question, what bout an map of addresses.... much like mapquest but you plug in your accounts for the day and their could be dots on the map listing your locations of jobs....
has any1 ever thought of this?
It also is getting a few other features that I find would be helpfull such as:
Scan, store, and organize receipts. (again taxes)
Mass mail or individually mail any client with an email address per request or scheaduled. (marketing plus email invoices)
Import any forms you have created in a vareity of formats, will pre-fill in company info and the like.
Manage other areas such as outgoing bills, advertising deadlines, other date important deadlines such as DBA renewals and so on.
Plus additional features I feel it may need as I use it more.
No intention though of selling it, I just like ease of use on my end.

Foremost you would need a web server to run your databases on and I would not use some run of the mill virtual account, a dedicated server would be best.Originally posted by A+ Lawncareby any chance could you give me a version i could use.... i'm in envy of ppl who know how to use computers, i just know how to download.....haha
Second if I did release a copy to someone, then sure as sh*t, it would be shared with someone else and then eventually it would be everywhere. I have had people promise me that they would not share something before and then Wham! it ended up on download.com and other places. This would be ok if I was into making freeware, but alas I am not. It takes a considerable amount of time to program these sort of applications. So much so that if I did release it I would have to do it as a paid install. If I was to go this route then I also would need to buy advertising at places such as here and others and do it the right way.
So for now it will remain for my own personal use, specially since I am still adding in features and checking for bugs. If I do change my mind everyone will know since I would have no other choice but to buy some ads here.
