I read the article " No Work I'm Still Waiting"

In Ohio, before you can fertilize, you must contact the state agricultural dept. to get study info and testing dates.

Also before you plant,(if you provide the plants for the client) you must have a nurseryman's license.

I don't mean to be negative , but I wouldn't want anyone to get into trouble and be fined by the state........not worth it

I hope this site is for the serious lawn service company and not the guy trying to make some bucks on the side.

The Laws Very State to State as far as Applicators Licenses, Business Licenses & So forth!

I write it the way I see it, Most Folks know that You need Licenses to Operate a Business, Some Businesses you need Multiple Licenses. I can't get Involved in Business & Legal Issues, But I do Know a Great Deal about both!

But if I tried to cover Every Angle Possible, while Writing & or Posting, This Post alone would Lock up the Database that Runs this Forum, Because it would be my Longest Post Ever Made & I've Made some Pretty Long ones T00! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

For Many Many Years & it Could still be that way Now, But used to in the State of Georgia you could Spray until the Cows come Home without a Spraying or Applicators License, LOL Just don't get caught Charging Money for your Services without an License.

You Must do your own Research on Anything & What Others say, you Must Take it at what it's worth. If you have Doubts or Questions Unanswered I would Suggest Seeking Legal Advise!

Again the Laws on Operating Businesses Vary State to State, So Business Person Beware. I also bet that you folks that Operate in More than one State could Really Shed Some Light on this Subject!
