    Hello Kendrick:

Pick out the Different Places, in Florida? Look at the Population, Talk to the Chamber of Commerce get Statistics of their City? Pay Scale, Average Household Income, Certain Size Homes Being Built & Etc...

Phone Books, Look at the Yellow Pages the Larger the Yellow Pages are Compaired to the White Pages tell you if there's Money to be Made There?

Personally I would Look Hard at Orlando, Possibly Tampa! After you make your Choice, Talk to Folks at the Real Estate Offices, The Re Locaters there. They could Help you a Lot?

Then Look to See Where all the Better Neighborhoods are Heading N,S,E or West? Probably would want to Live Near that Direction Farther out? Country? <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Good Luck & Keep us Informed on How it's Going?

Sounds like a good plan. I'm making a trip down there next week to do some more investigation and try to find the statistics that you are talking about. I may cut in the city, but I'll live in the country. I'll always live in the country. I don't live right in Nashville right now, I live in a one stop light town about 30 minutes away. Thanks Grass,

        Hello biff
I know it has been a while since you posted the question about the best city but I wanted to know if you moved to Orlando or not. I am in Orlando and I wanted to talk to others in this area.

I live in Jacksonville, Fl and these guys are right, competition is fierce here. The customers know that they can drop you in a heart beat and find someone else cheaper. There are alot of companies here. I found out that to get the business here is to do an excellent job. Even though there are alot of pro's here, there are also several that do an awful job and those are the one's that make us look bad. But when the costumers get us, and we do what they are looking for then you have them for life. That is just what I have come across. I have a costumer that went through 5 others before me within a matter of months just trying to find someone who would do a good job. I have kept them for 2 years now. Costumers are willing to pay the price you ask as long as you go up and above the rest and do a wonderful job.

I can tell you business is booming in Central Florida. Yes, there are plenty of LCO and many low ballers but most don't last through one summers heat and rain. As with most service industries, quality work and being dependable really make a difference. Spend the time and effort and get your pest control lic, that will give you a distinct advantage over the masses. A serious effort and quality work will be the key no matter where you relocate. Good Luck!
