Best advertising method??????

First off,let me just say what a tremendous help this forum is!I have just started up a one man(me)Lawn Care business.I have all the required equipment(I think?).
Just wondering,what do you fellas consider to be the most effective means of advertising?I live in a fairly upscale neighbourhood and am sure to get customers from here.So far I have done the following:

-printed up 5000 single page flyers at the printers to be distributed in the community newspaper

-printed up 250 door hanger cards for the immediate area I live in.

I am also planning to add my coupon to a locally distributed coupon booklet at the end of the season to hopefully get some aerating jobs.

I have magnetic signs on the trailer as well!

Any other advice?

Business cards....see them around here almost everywhere. Bank lobbys,childcare centers, church bulletin boards, convenience stores,etc.Let your properties do advertising for you by doing quality work, and be sure to ask customers for referalls.You might consider sponsoring a race car/go cart driver if that's a big thing in your area, a local co. here does it and says it has brought him all kinds of work, for $200.00 he gets his name spread all over a race car.
In time word of mouth will bring in the work!
