Does anybody have this or know anything about this? Is there a need?

I've heard about prepaid legal ... like buying an insurance policy against prospects of needing a lawyer ... but if you get sued are you not covered under your insurance policy and doesn't this take care of it? Any doubts, call your agent to discuss?

Yes I have pre-paid legal and it is great. I had to use them last year after a bad partnership and it saved my a##. I have had it for about ten years and never thought that it would ever be used, but I did and it was well worth the $25 month that I have been paying<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have not, but I do get a reduced rate thru my nursery/landscape association. I pay $185/hr + expenses instead of $300-$400/hr.

Prepaid Legal is the biggest crock of craphaps, steer clear....

Your better bet is to go to a LOCAL lawyer for advice, often times 'quick advice' from your LOCAL lawyer is free anyhow.

Quick legal advice is the most you'll get from Prepaid Legal w/ your membership - everything else will cost you "at a *discounted* rate."

actually, it's not a bad service. I used to have it, then cancelled. Sometimes I wish I still had it. Matter of fact, I recently posted a situation regarding abroken window and some violations it would have been very helpfull with. I have an attourney on retainer though, and I wouldn't trade him for anything.
