How do I get set up to accept credit cards? Is there any upfront cost or is it all "monthly use" based?

    I will welcome any input.

    Thanks,

My advice is to just do it ... inexpensive, effective, 48 hour money ... don't be skeptical ... everybody in the country offers cards.

          Hello DJ:

Forum Member Hawkeye5 is Right, You are Going to be Processing Credit Cards Yourself & Doing it Physically at Your Location. So You Need to Talk to One of Your Local Banks.

Remember Different Banks Charge Different Fees for Setup & Processing. So You Might want to Shop around.

If I didn't Have Charge Card processing at My Shop, I Would Loose a Lot of Business. My Average Monthly Fee is around $300 to $400 a Month. I wouldn't Consider Doing Business without it.

With credit cards ... if you have to ... within your price given, add a tiny amount to cover the percentage charged to you, it's not much but it will add up over time.
