• Orlando, Free Services

I live in Orlando Florida
I am starting a new business aimed at helping new lawn service companies handle all the administrative problems with owning their own business.
I wanted to know if you guys thought it was a good idea. There is a web site with more info if interested in knowing more email me.
I will offer many services including paid medical, 401k, liability, vacation, Nextel phone with 400 min, workman’s comp, and others.
There will be a monthly fee. I know what it will cost me to provide this service but I want to know what people would be willing to spend.

Please give any input positive of otherwise
Jay

Shouldn't you be paying Mr. Admin for advertising on his site?

Kimber have you any idea that the economy in Orlando has gone down the crapper since 9-11-01?

Out of all the nationwide hotel/motel foreclosures 25% of them are in Central Fla.

Lawn care operators in central Fla are lucky to be able to afford shoes and winter coats.

What the hell?? Winter coats in central FL? Jacket or windbreaker maybe. Oh yeah! I have a friend in the auto accessories busines (items purchased with discretionary income) in Tampa. He's having a record year!

Kimber Solutions is not a company yet. I am asking for opinions on the value of the services. The 400 Nextel minutes are in addition to the unlimited "Direct Connect" which is the purpose for giving the phone. All the landscapers have a way to contact each other and ask for help. As far as the economy, Scott just showed me this:
"recently I found out the lawn industry is
a 4-billion industry in Florida,
second in the nation only to California"
That is why a wanted input from you guys to see if I could get the service cheap enough to sell it to anyone.
Your help is appreciated.
Jay

The Lawn and Landscape business is Orlando area is booming! While its true hotels and travel related business has suffered its also true the grass keeps growing.

Im not sure the LCO that need the services you want to offer can or could afford them and the LCO that could afford the services already have someone who takes care of stuff like you mentioned. But you'll never know until you try. Good luck![8D]

I think it's a wonderful idea. I wish someone up here would specialize in the green industry with accounting, taxes, payroll, training, personnel services, insurance, etc. As long as the price is reasonable and tailored to the individual it would be worth it to relieve the headaches and worry, because especially in the summer I spend all day cutting grass and a large amount of my "free time" doing paperwork. I have no Idea what you should charge though. Maybe a little more than a regular accountant would depending on services, with each service adding a little more. Good Luck[8D]
