    Mr.Stone,

I guess you don't know much about me. I have a 48" Lesco WB w/ Velke. I only used my 21" because my dad was on a trip and I didn't have anybody to bring my 48" from my moms to my dads. And I couldn't drive it over myself because I'm 15, Well actually tomorrow is my 16th Birthday!!!! But I do have the equipment, just no way to move it until I get my license..

    Have a nice day!

i guess you people don't get this... He pays me $10 for the back and $15 for the front.. Back is 6500sq.ft front is 7200sq.ft... $25 for 13,700sq.ft.. I can do the whole thing in 41 minutes with a 21" including trim and blow, or 24 minutes with 48" including trim and blow.... I moved all my lawns up and none are under $22 now, so I still making about $28-$35 an hour (mowing).. Not bad I think..

      Sorry about the confusion

You were clear in your first post. From all the stuff I have been reading (Grass Master and Nilsson as well as others) you seem to be doing right by the $10 for 20 minutes. Especially since it is your Dad's lawn. I am thinking that a straight $30 for both is something to consider, especially if you get more lawns on the same block.

When you get your licence are more mobile, I would think about upping the 30 to 40. Just because you'll have the travel expenses to consider.

By the way, Happy 16th B-Day tomorrow!!

Happy B-Day Steve, I really admire you in your biz. venture. At 15 I was only worried about my soon to be new truck and girls. Also Sports. I didnt have an interest in putting the effort in to WORK as you at that age. And to get $10 for the whole yard for either parents is good. So, $25 is great. I to this day do my parents, inlaws and grandmaws for free. But that's just me.
