Before you start to operate your business with any name make sure you register the name through your respected state. If someone else in your state uses the same name and owns the rights to it, and you could be held liable for monetary damages.

I live in Kansas and it is impossible to register business names, but I was able to register a 'servicemark' which practically protects my name the name.

Google your state along with 'register business name' and you should be able to find more information on how about to register your prospective name.

A quick sreach of Dream Cut Lawn Care yeilded no results in Illinois on yellowpages.com....I'd try and register it! While you are at it, I would also buy up an appropriate domain name on godaddy.com for your new business regardless is you do not intend to have a website in the near future. This way at least you'll have a good name reserved when the time comes. Now-a-days domain names get snatched up FAST! dreamcutlawn.com and dreamcutlawncare.com are both currently available.

It shouldn't matter that the name is in use down in Alabama.....unless you have wild ambitions to start doing business down there...
