Well I just bought Phil's Job estimating package and from what I have read it is worth the investment. It will put you in the right direction on having a profitable business.

I think that link is junk. Check out "How to start a home-based landscaping business" by Owen E. Dell. Its a good beginner book, and its under $20 if I remember correctly.

I have the book by Owen E.Dell.. I got it off ebay for $12.95 + shipping. It has a very helpful section at the end with all types of money management, planning, and bidding forms. It gives a good description of what is needed to start, how to get jobs, ways to advertise, etc, etc...

Its basically all of Phil's books crammed into one. Phil's are more detailed while Dell's outline the basics..
