How many of you have written business and / or marketing plans for your business? Do you feel these are necessary to solidify your business infrastructure?

You should have some type of plan laid out. Wether it is in your head or written down. Normally a formal business plan is needed when you are looking to get a business loan.Wayne

Even if you are not seeking an outside source of funding it is a good idea to go a business plan, your business plan will include a marketing section in it as well. I am starting up in Jan and almost finished with mine. I am not doing it to get funding but started it and decided to finish it....it has helped me to stay focussed and organized..if you have the time, id do one.
