Hey whats up everyone? I have been in lawn and landscaping for about 2 years now but have not put forth full effort. I had gotten back from Iraq in 2003 and honestly wasnt ready to start my own business.

But now I am, me and my fiance, i am just looking for advice for what to do in the marketing. How do i get 300 customers like I keep seeing everyone getting and any secrets on the bidding process? Just any information would help out extremely. Oh I am in cedar rapids, Iowa if that helps any at all.

Hi Wiggins,

Make some flyers and get your company name out. Let people know you are in business. We have a lot of free flyers you can download and edit as well. Maybe some of them will inspire some ideas.

After reading your post, I do wonder if maybe you could put in the flyer some how that you are a veteran and that you got back from Iraq in 2003. Would that be a good idea? Anything to stand out from others in the business might give you an edge to help you get more customers.

hey whats up? yeah that is actually a great idea to use the veteran idea. I need anything that will put me up at a competitor edge. Design ideas?.... hmmm what would be some examples should i say something like "Im a veteran of the Iraq war serving you to protect your freedom, now i am here to protect your lawn and make your lawn look better than ever, you know you can depend on me" i dont know its a rough example but something along those lines??
